Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re having trouble activating your SIM, please check the following

  •       Check to make sure your SIM is inserted correctly in your handset
  •  Confirm your handset band is compatible with Bluesky’s network – we operate at 1900 Mgh/850 Mghz band
  • If your SIM is inserted correctly and your handset compatible, power up your handset and you are ready to make and receive calls

When you select  the Mybluesky app and see the following message:  “An error occurred: We cannot get your data”  you may need to check the apps permission by following these steps:

*             Select “Settings” for your handset

*             Select “Apps” or “App Permissions”

*             Select “MyBluesky”

*             Under App settings in this menu, you will see the option to select “Permissions”.

*              In the new menu that comes up, please turn on permissions for Location (optional) and Telephone (required).

This may not work at your first attempt, so you will have to simply uninstall the app, and reinstall then retry the steps listed above.   Otherwise, please bring in your handset to our retail store and our service representative will be happy to help you.

Important to Note:    The MyBluesky app requires a data connection and setting up the Mybluesky will not charge your credit or your data bundle.
